Tsada Golf Course

The oldest of the Cyprus golf courses is Tsada, which was originally built in 1994 but has recently been refurbished and its manicured greens have had a complete makeover.

Originally designed by Donald Steel with the refurbishment designed by British architects, Mackenzie and Ebert, it's idyllically set in a beautiful valley on the outskirts of Paphos at 550m above sea level, so that golfers can enjoy cooling sea breezes as they tee off. The fairways are lined with fruit trees and vines and can be enjoyed by players of all abilities.

The recent renovation has seen all the tees expanded and improved and new bunkers added and the course now meets the standards of the best European courses. In addition, a new Club House has been built, there's an outdoor pool, a tennis court, driving range, putting green and pitching and chipping area.

Golf accessories are available from the pro shop and there's tuition and guidance from a PGA professional. If you want to try out the newly renovated course, your nearest airport is Paphos International (itself under renovation!) and the course is just 20 minutes from Paphos town. I
