Secret Valley Golf Course
This course was opened two years after Tsada in 1996 and is tucked away in a 'secret' valley 18 km east of Paphos, close to the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite and offering unparalleled panoramic views.
Secret Valley golf course was designed by Iacovos Iacovou and is surrounded by huge mature trees.
The course is 5,904m in length and plays to a par 71 with golfers enjoying not only golf but nature in all its splendour. The first nine holes include four which are good for warming up, an easy dog leg and two birdie opportunities. The second nine are rather more challenging.
Facilities are second to none and include a clubhouse which has recently been refurbished with a restaurant overlooking the course and artificial lakes, fairway bunkers, a large driving range, putting greens and more.
Tuition by a PGA qualified resident golf instructor can be tailored to suit the individual and can be either private or in groups.
There's plenty of property in and around Secret Valley golf course, both villas and apartments for those on holiday or those who want to enjoy the golf and the surroundings on a more permanent basis. Secret Valley is just 18km from Paphos Town but it's also easily reached from either Larnaca or Limassol or villages like Souni, Kalogiri and Pissouri.
