• To the north-east of Larnaca is the popular village of Oroklini, which is only a ten minute drive from Larnaca and has good road access. You can find a luxury modern three-bedroom villa in Oroklini, with its own pool and fabulous views for under €400,000 (GBP 300,000).
• Or if you prefer an apartment, you can find new one- and two-bedroom apartments in Mazotos village, situated conveniently between Larnaca and Limassol with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. Some are built in traditional Greek style but with every modern comfort and prices are very affordable at around €115,000 (GBP 86,000 approx.).
• Another beautiful village which is just west of the town and overlooks Larnaca is Tersefanou, the site of the newest golf course in Cyprus, which is currently under construction. One- and two-bedroom modern apartments in Tersefanou also cost around €115,000.
• Another popular village is Ormedia, a quiet residential village, close to the sea and with easy access to Larnaca airport. Three- and four-bedroom villas in Ormedia with magnificent views,in a hillside location, start at just over €300,000 (GBP 225,000 approx.).
