Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus and the island’s main business district. It’s part of a large administrative region and because it’s not a coastal location, property in Nicosia is mainly of interest to those who work for one of the many international companies that are based there.
 
Only the southern half of the city is within the Republic of Cyprus, the northern half is under Turkish occupation on the other side of the Green Line.
