PROPERTY IN FAMAGUSTA CYPRUS
FAMAGUSTA (AMMOCHOSTOS)
Famagusta is situated in the south east of Cyprus, east of Larnaca’s international airport.
The Famagusta area is on the south-east coast of Cyprus and is just a small, but beautiful section of the Famagusta administrative district which lies within the Republic of Cyprus. The remainder, including the town of Famagusta, is under Turkish control in the occupied north of the island.
Thanks to its many Blue Flag beaches, this area, in particular Agia Napa, is popular with young holidaymakers in the summer. It’s also home to the resort of Protaras, which is a firm favourite with both tourists and homebuyers, as well as the nearby town of Paralimni and a wealth of traditional Cypriot villages.
